# HIRAM > HIRAM is a free, open-source AI agent for public use, from RABSTER LAB LLC, Wyoming, USA. It is in development; a public download and release date have not been announced. The official public website is https://hiramagent.com. HIRAM has a public-purpose mission; the marketing tools help users develop their own businesses and do not make HIRAM a commercial offering. HIRAM brings AI agents, tools, owner-scoped memory, and longer-running missions into a workspace on the user's machine. Local-first does not mean local-only: users can choose a local model or a supported cloud API. Cloud providers, connected services and remote peers require network access. Where prompts go depends on configuration. ## Kothon Hub Kothon is designed around peer-hosted model inference and origin-side agent work. The user’s HIRAM owns the mission, runs agents and approved tools on the user’s PC, and integrates the results. Trusted peers host selected models, receive approved context and return answers or tool requests across repeated turns. Each child works under an approved project assignment with a selected peer model, scoped permissions and limits. Every local file read, edit, test or command must fit that ticket, the user’s request and existing permissions. Computer control and access outside these boundaries are blocked. Several peers can support concurrent local child agents using separate checkouts or file leases; the originating HIRAM coordinates dependencies and delivers the combined result. No pooled GPU memory, model-weight transfer or unrestricted remote computer access is implied. Shared sessions remain a separate capability for invited accounts on the same instance, with explicit permission roles and contributor attribution. ## Marketing, content and social media These tools complement HIRAM’s core AI workspace. Inspired by Lebanon’s spirit of enterprise, they help users develop a business idea, clarify their audience and prepare a first campaign with AI. HIRAM supports brand profiles, audience and positioning context, campaign briefs, marketing plans, drafting, review and analysis of provided content. Its social workspace brings together connected accounts, composition, media and publication status. Marketing and social modules must be enabled. Connected publishing depends on supported services, configured credentials and permissions. The landing page presents illustrative workflows, not live campaign output or performance claims. ## Platforms and setup Windows, macOS and Linux are release targets. Windows desktop packaging exists; macOS and Linux installers still require packaging and validation. Public installers and final hardware requirements are pending. The source setup uses Python 3.12 or 3.13, uv, Node.js 22 and a local or cloud model provider. Docker is optional for ordinary chat, research and content work. Docker is used for isolated execution and testing of code or shell commands. Local model hardware requirements depend on the selected model. ## Brand and heritage HIRAM is named for King Hiram of Tyre. Its identity celebrates Lebanese pride and the Phoenician spirit of maritime enterprise, skilled craftsmanship and the exchange of ideas. The page includes all 22 Phoenician letters in Unicode order, displayed right to left. The harbor and vessel are artistic interpretations. ## Availability No public installer or source download is linked yet. The website has a release section and an in-page developer setup guide for people who already have the source. ## Ownership HIRAM and this website are owned by RABSTER LAB LLC, Wyoming, USA. Its local-first workspace brings together agents, tools, memory, and longer-running missions. It brings the work into one place, with progress you can follow and approvals for sensitive actions. ### What can HIRAM help me do? HIRAM brings research, drafting, code assistance, tools and owner-scoped memory into one workspace. You can use a local model or connect a supported cloud API. Complementary marketing, content and social tools help you develop a business idea, shape a brand brief and marketing plan, draft campaigns and posts, organise media, and track publication through supported connected services. They reflect HIRAM’s Lebanese spirit of enterprise. ### Is HIRAM free and open source? Yes. HIRAM is an open-source project being built for everyone, with a public-purpose mission rather than a commercial offering. Its complementary marketing tools help users develop their own ideas and businesses. Public downloads and source access details will appear here when the release is ready. ### What makes Kothon different? Kothon brings trusted peer models into your HIRAM’s agent workflow. Peers provide model inference; your HIRAM coordinates the mission, runs approved tools on your PC and integrates the result. Context and allowed tool results support repeated turns, so the work can move beyond a single answer. Several peer-backed agents can contribute in parallel under approved work tickets, with clear project access and limits. Your HIRAM keeps local actions within your request and existing permissions. Computer control and unrelated access are blocked. ### How can HIRAM help me start a business? Use HIRAM to research an idea, organise what you learn, and turn it into a plan. Complementary marketing tools help you define an audience, shape a brand voice, draft a campaign, and prepare content for your social presence. Inspired by Lebanon’s entrepreneurial spirit, they bring practical uses of AI into the early work of building a business. ### Does everything run offline? Local-first means HIRAM’s runtime and workspace can live on your computer. A configured local model can handle model work locally. Cloud models, web research, connected services, and remote peers need their respective network connections. Where your prompts go depends on the providers and peers you choose. ### What will I need to run it? HIRAM is being prepared for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Public installers and final system requirements are still pending. The current source setup uses Python 3.12 or 3.13, uv, Node.js 22, and a local or cloud model provider. Docker is not required for ordinary chat, research, or content work. It is used when running and testing code or shell commands in an isolated environment. Local model memory and storage needs depend on the model you choose. ### When can I download HIRAM? The public release is still in preparation. This page will carry the verified installer, release notes, and final setup instructions when they are ready. There is no announced release date yet. ### Why the Phoenician story? The Phoenicians’ success connected skilled craftsmanship, maritime enterprise, and the exchange of ideas. HIRAM draws inspiration from that spirit. The harbor is our visual metaphor for Kothon: independent places connected through purposeful exchange. The harbor and vessel artwork are contemporary interpretations, not historical reconstructions.
